Peter the great: Can't be tamed.

Peter was a man with a plan. He knew that needed to make these changes to Russia with the government because with them, it would take too long. He decided to work around the government. He put more power on czar. He also increased the size of his army and made sure that all of his men knew the plan and were properly trained.

Peter the great: Opened the door to technology.

One way that Peter wanted to modernize Russia was by bring technology. While traveling in Western Europe he learned about some of the new advances in technology  and wanted Russia to be apart of this movement.

Peter the Great: Hungry for modern change.

As soon as Peter the Great went back to Russia, he wanted to change his beloved country. Peter the Great wanted Russia to become more modern. He did succeed in modernizing Russia.
